Hey buddy, do check with your manager and your compliance officer once. Generally WFH means working from your home country and working from remote country may raise compliance issues. The reason is your HSBC entity changes when you change the country and country specific regulations are applied to you and your work. Ideally these restrictions are eased for the EXCO employees such as MDs/HODs etc. and they get a completely different offer letter than yours.
My recommendation would be to check with your HR if your manager is also not sure.

I often hear lawyers threatening to “call the judge” during a deposition, generally when there is a dispute among counsel over a question that has been asked. Has anyone ever actually done this? What exactly is the judge supposed to do, resolve the dispute over the phone?
