Hi Sharks, I recently got an Offer from Pwc AC for the position of Senior Associate (50% hike from current fixed pay). However this position is 2 levels down from my current position. This makes me feel concerned. In my current position, I work in a capacity of a senior manager (compared to PwC); however in Pwc AC I will be far from any management. My current company is ready to match my CCTC to PwC Fixed; with a retention clause.
YoE: 8, CCTC: 20LPA w/ Fixed~17LPA

The path from Manager to Associate Principal (AP) is not tenure based, and the time taken highly varies from case to case. Having said that, once you do make it to AP or P, the earning potential increases massively (APs start at around 40-50L and can go upto 70-1 Cr and beyond for Principals
I don't think so.. Two reasons:
1. Many new hires won't sustain for long in ZS. So, the person who sustains, naturally get to play a larger role.
2. It depends on the growth rate of the firm. If you are joining at C/M level business development is an important component of your growth
Ball park you are in range for a new manager. But people, who "grew-up" in ZS would have become a manager much earlier than 10 years.
Having said that, in ZS the Manager role is one step below Jr. Partner. So, your scope for growth is very high.

If you don't mind, can you help me with the role I need to play here? It looks like a different work architecture at ZS than at my previous organisations. If you are okay, we can talk in DM.
It doesnt work that way here. We do not have a bell curve. If you create an impact esp if you are lateral hire, you can be promoted faster as well
