When should I negotiate new equity packages?

I report directly to my Chief Growth Officer and my startup is about to raise our series B. I joined the company 1 month after series A and I was told by my boss that employees get equity based on their future value to the company, not based on their success in the short term. So should I negotiate equity in every round of funding?

I’m up for a promotion at work and I have no idea how much to ask for since it’s not a standard position. Currently I’m a team lead and manage about 8 technicians, my promotion will be to a regional service delivery manager, and I will be managing over 30 in 3 locations. I went from a tier 1 engineer in managed servers to team lead with about a 10k increase in salary.I’m thinking about a 15k increase this time from 65k to 80k. It's been just 2 months that I am working as a Manager in my company. But I'm really confused.
I was working vey hard and dedicated for past two years. But instead of giving a good raise, thay gave me a Position. I do really love this position and my work. But because of the poor salary, I don't know how much longer I'll be working here.

Any LMS recommendations for corporate training scheduling/ logistics? I work for a staffing company and we have large groups of internal employees (recruiters and account managers) who come through training at different points in their career - it’s a pretty manual process right now as we’re tracking in Excel spreadsheets… Looking for a system that can automatically create training groups based on tenure/ promotion dates. Ugh I wanted to take my son to see a UFC match in person. Just so happens there is one in November at Madison Square Garden - great right! I knew the tickets would be expensive, was willing to pay $400 to $500 a ticket as long as they were decent. The cheapest ticket in the whole arena, basically top row so you can’t see crap, is $506 before you start with the fees!!! Am I wrong or is that just bananas???? Oh well, pay per view it is, maybe have some friends over. Just complaining… happy Friday!
