What's your yoe and tech stack?
I am a strategy consultant ( Managerial), london opportunity is in strategy and operations area
With this salary in India u might be able to afford 2-3 maids and in London u will have to do everything on own. So think about that factor also
What would you prefer - a rich person in a developing country or an average earner in a developed country? If former, then India else London.
And What would you prefer?
Atleast 160K pounds but I am afraid if you will be paid that much in london
With yours Indian salary, you should be trying for atleast 130K. The chances of getting that much are slim.
Yes, the recruiter mentioned that they can’t go beyond 120k and I thought given the tax structure and cost of living it is very low. So was worried and checked here while I research more online and with network

65lpa is f*** you money in India that you throw wads of cash at everyone and everything and never run out. 120k can't do that for you.
If you value the benefits of a first world life, make the sacrifice. Biggest issue is income taxes (~40k). You can make it tax efficient to an extent with pension contributions, ISA/LISA etc.
140k
There are some other factors to consider based on your tech stack and yoe of there are future opportunities to move outside london later . If your spouse is working
May I ask which firm are you working for
Tech stack, yr of exp and highest degree please.
How did u apply for the role? LinkedIn?
