Yosemite is absolutely breathtaking. Gotta plan way in advance, though, and take into account the record snowfalls. I’m not sure how it will be affected.
You will need to see all three eventually, though, so really I think this is just a matter of what order to see them in, and whether there are any implications (good or bad) of the recent weather.
For me, in order of most awesome to least awesome, the parks are as follows:
1. Yosemite
2. Yellowstone
3. Grand Canyon
However, I’m a climber and I like animals, so make of that what you will :). Absent any other considerations, I’d do them in reverse that order, as to build in awe.
With Yosemite and Yellowstone, you might find flooding this year after all of the snowfall/rainfall we had over the winter. I would aim for somewhere warmer, like Grand Canyon or Bryce since they may not have been as affected by the wet winter we had. Yellowstone for sure is going to be flooding this summer (they flooded last year and they didn't get nearly as much snow last year)
I'm not sure that Yellowstone will flood again. What happened last June broke all historic records and really changed the pattern of the water flow so it's not necessarily going to flood again this year. Something to pay attention to though, for sure.
I've been to the Grand Canyon and it was a great experience. I planned my whole trip on Expedia. Maybe try that out. Sometimes travel agents are not the most cost effective route
Yosemite is seriously the most beautiful place I've ever been to. Highly recommend using one of their camping outfitters and staying there at least 4 nights or so.
Gahhh I am so jealous. I went to the Grand Canyon in February and it was life changing!!
