Hello!
I finished my final round(s) for a TAM position at Google (GCP) last week and was told by my recruiter that my feedback was great and that I made a solid impression on the team and am "firmly in the running". I was supposed to hear back this week (according to the recruiter) but he just told me that it's still in the process and that I'll have to wait for another week or so.
Is this common at Google ? I have heard they are notorious for being really slow with their hiring process.
Crossroads Toyota Motor Sales, USA, Inc. I have been with the organization almost 6 years and have accomplished achievement of my MSL (Masters Strategic Leadership) and LOVE the organization…BUT…I am not having any success in moving into a new position…my interviews are great experiences but it seems to be a pattern of not being selected yet encouraged to continue applying…received information from a mentor/manager to ask for candid feedback…when is enough…ENOUGH??

Follow up with recruiter / HR rep. Could very easily still be reviewing candidates
I emailed the recruiter last Wednesday and didn’t get a response. Don’t want to be a bother because I understand the process but definitely anxious. Is there a right amount of time to wait?
There's no perfect amount of time to wait, but I would say if 3-4 weeks have gone by with no response to anything, it may be time to move on. This isn't true for everywhere though. Never too early to be looking at other opportunities imo.
