Hi, I just want to receive some interview tips for my interview tomorrow. It's been 3yrs since I last worked in retail as a sales associate, and I have an interview for a seasonal sales associate position at a mall near my place. I really want to get this job because my current job is an hour away from my place (+ it's fast food, which is not really what I see myself being successful in). Only problem is that I have social anxiety during interviews, and I mentally block out all the time.

I know when people say stay come. Write this down answer every question they ask with these four things we all use most in retail its called star stands for.
1 S=situation
2.T=task
3A=action
4.R= result

When you answer all the interviewers questions used this above to answer the question Huge win if done Right.
2. Think about this interview as you also interviewing the company do your research when did it 1st opn etc.
3. At the very end to get a idea how it went when they ask for question ask all of the ones you need answered and if your interviewing them you should some like we do you see the company in 5 to 10 yrs last question is during this interview have I said or done during this interview that would make you believe I would not be a candidate for the role be careful some interviewers might not answer its ok good luck.

I’m pretty responsive for things they need help with like laundry machine got broken or pantry doors fell off. So I had sent people to fix those maintenance and repair issues.

But light burbs? Srlsy? They are grown up people (fresh out of college girls)

I’m new on the job search and still employed. I’m looking to grow further in the logistics industry. While I look for work, it’s a bit discouraging seeing how hundreds of people apply for positions I see on LinkedIn. I still apply because you never know and AI plays a huge effect in selections. Should I even bother applying when there are more than 100 applications?

I have not yet received a follow up after this(coming on two weeks) so I know that I've been ghosted. My question is, was I wrong to ask to see the offer before making a decision?

I applied for a role a few days ago and found the relevant hiring manager today via LinkedIn. Should I send a follow up mail/introduce myself to this person. Would it leave a good impression or come across as desperate?

Btw, the person is in a “Talent Acquisition” position at the company.

How can I get over this feeling? I'm over the whole "stand in the line of fire to prove how good I am" bs. Any recommendations for getting over this or possible industries to pivot into to avoid bs interview processes and ghosting?
