Anyone received promotion letter in Jul 2022 in TCS?

At what point is it realistic to ask for $$ to pay ourselves as founders (who will quit their job?) and how much is appropriate?

We are currently doing a pre-seed raise of $500k, but I’m really struggling to balance my work and my start-up.

Note that my current job pays $100k, and I don’t have a crazy resume.

How much raise can we expect from SE I to SE II promotion?

Not a question but very discouraged. I asked for a 20% raise and they came back with “ and all of my years at (won’t disclose yet) I have never seen a 20% increase approved”. I’m thinking well can you ask for fuck sake… ugh so over this.

I’ve sent a raise request letter 6 months ago followed up at least twice a month finally offered 5% which is much lower then my request I have denied and counter offered but they just out the 5% through . What should I do from here ?

I also just found out that a new hire (male, also an engineer) is the reason I got a raise after ~5 years of stagnancy. I love my job, but it’s time to move on. Partners or whomever can help me understand about billing and hours. To keep things simple, let’s say you only have one staff to work 1,700 billable hours a year on a $60k salary and you have only one job that and the rate charged to the client is $300/hour and an projected hours budget of 1,700 hours. So ideally you would have revenue of $510k. If the staff takes less time partners make less money and if they take more time partners make more money while the staff keeps the same salary?

Maybe this is a weird one/I'm over analyzing but here goes:

Hello Guys,

I have 8 years of experience with more than 4 years in the current organization. Current package is 9.5 LPA. I have offers with Accenture (14L fixed and 4L variable) and CTS (15.5L fixed and 70k variable) both having more than 75% hike.
In my current organization, I see a scope for onsite assignment (not 100% confirmed though). I am confused of which one to choose - Wheather to stay back or switch to which company.
