Hi, I recently gave 2 rounds of interviews at a Big 4 in Toronto, one was technical and second the behavioral, the interviews went very well, with the second interview ending on a note that the next round would be a partner round. It's been a week today since my last interview and I have dropped a followup 1 day ago, what should be my next step?

There is this big bank where I'd love to work at, and after several interviews for various positions they end up promoting someone from within, even thou I understand it and think it’s good they promote their people, it left me feeling like I'm just being used to comply with the process.
