If it's project specific hiring, you can join. But long term is very subjective thing. Don't know what long term is according to them. Before joining, I was told it's long term and after joining I was told that contract is there for 1 year. Client will renew contract on the basis of performance in this 1 year. I am still working in the same project and client is very happy till now. Let's see what happens in January.
I am currently working in persistent systems nly. The culture here is really good. I agree the projects getting might take some time. But if u r skilled then they take you as top priority for looking in additional projects. I have seen in my team they were sharing resume to diffent project openings.

Once your project is over, they will force you to relocate if next projects demands.
If your locations is pune /bangalore then you can join else no.
Can advise if persistent systems have good projects in Salesforce Marketing Cloud? I have an offer for Mumbai location

For me long term was 3 months lol. Don't trust persistent, they have no projects. Even CEO confirmed on call indirectly that they have huge bench at the moment.
Join IBM.
Which interview are you referring to?
He clearly mentioned that every organization is facing the same situation when opportunities are presented to the company, but later clients withdraw their requirements. However, this is no longer the case, and the market is on the upswing.
Please provide clear information.
Whats the band they are offering at your experience? I’m in the same boat as you are, hr assured me that they won’t ask me to relocate for project but after reading this thread i have my doubts
Persistent have long term projects and they are not mandating employees to WFO until there's a requirement from the client side. Moreover, they offer strong job security for employees.
Layoffs occur only when an employee remains on the bench for a longer period, the bench team provides them with 3 opportunities for an interview. If the employee is unable to clear these interviews, layoffs may follow.

Quite a dreamy world you are living in. Maybe you are a old timer with persistent hence the job security.
For new folks it's quite the opposite sir.
Also it is a quite known fact that persistent is calling folks 2 days per week to office mandatory.
