Hi! I’m looking for advice on H1B visa extension/stamping as I’m nearing the 2nd term of my visa. My visa expires in Oct’24 and I intend to travel outside the U.S towards the year end. So should I apply for premium processing (self funded)? Any ideas on how long it takes for visa extension through regular processing and visa stamping afterward in India/canada?

Guys, I interviewed at amex gurgaon 10days ago and was told by VP that I will hear from HR very soon. But when I checked on HR yesterday, she said interviews are still in progress and it will take a week more to finalize.

How am I expected to bill 1900 hours when I only have 8 cases and when I ask for work no one responds. I even asked the partner in person for work and he said he was slow and didn’t have anything for me.This month I’ve only billed 80 hrs. Hi Everyone - Need some insights. My PERM process was started by company in Feb’22 (currently awaiting wage determination, submitted to DOL in May’22). Its been months and DOL is working on requests from Jan’22. My H1B expires for good in Oct’23 (with all the recapture). Is there any chance I’ll have my PERM completed by then? Anybody with a priority date of mid-late 2015 that is considering switching jobs? I have an offer that I was about to sign, but saw that priority dates for filing in EB2 are already at sep 2014 this April. That makes me wonder if i could either miss my window or worse if the date becomes current while my new employer is still doing PERM.
