What is the culture like, type of work and reputation of Capco in the Data & Analytics space?
I have some good ex colleagues who moved over there and also looked up on LinkedIn and see lots of seemingly smart and accomplished people in their D&A team in the UK.
I'll ask my ex colleagues too, but wanted to see if people here have any opinion or information on this too.
TIA
I thought this thread would be a little busier.

Comparison is the thief of joy my friend, as long as you understand and fulfill your needs with your earnings, you're good. Also you're getting a chance to complete your PhD in lesser time, which is a good thing. to make you feel better, I'm an experienced design engineer, but still I'm earning almost 30% lesser than my CS batchmates, still I'm happy with what I'm earning, as it is easily fulfilling mine n my family needs and I'm able to build a small wealth portfolio alongside.
Think about the length of your career rather than how quickly you can out-earn your CS batch mates. Most of your CS batch mates may not be the most competent in their field. Thus their career may not be that long as yours. You shall gain value with experience Whereas in IT the value of experience has a shelf life, always there is new technology. Thus they need to learn a lot which becomes impossible at a certain age. This will give them several health problems. Whereas in Core field pay may be less initially but experience will matter a lot and you will be valued as you gain more experience. You may not be allowed to retire also..
If you passionate about carrier. Continue until the same. If you are passionate about money and interested in CS field go ahead with Software. Because Software Billings are way ahead with Mechanical Engineers Billing.
