I applied with EY for a Senior Manager role I had my first stage interview with a senior manager, which I thought went well as I got the partner interview 2 weeks later, and said I'll be contact within 10 day HR. This did not happen so I chased up. Today I received feedback from HR stating that the senior manager, who would have been my peer, said I didn't have enough experience. But the partner who I would have been working under did like me.
Is this normal with EY recruitment
Accenture - interviewing for Asset Management - Consultant. Coming from industry, made it onto ‘Skills Interview’ website makes it out to be an in-depth resume review. Any additional info on the process. Also, any tips moving forward in interview process, especially given industry - consulting transition. Thanks!
Did 4 rounds of interviews. Last 2 with 2 partners at EY. Haven’t heard back even after 1 month. One partner even commented “you will be a good addition to the team”. Hiring manager gave EY email after her interview call with me.
Fast forward two weeks, no communication. Recruiting was surprised that I was still chasing for this position, month later. Got to know last week that hiring team was continuing to interview candidates. Should I drop the idea to get hired? EY hasn’t rejected me yet.

Consulting work is feast or famine. When you are on a project you might find there is no WLB at all and then when the project is over you might find you are on the bench and anxious about getting cut. It's a lot to consider. I'm actually looking to get out and find something more stable, bur I assume you will get some more opinions here. Best of luck@!
Capco is staff aug. you can take a 9-5 role.
I would avoid if you're not getting a pay bump over your current position. I am in the Tech consulting dept at Capco US. Like someone else said, we are mostly client staff augmentation. Promotion opportunities are limited unless you're hustling and bringing in new clients/business for the company.
Thank you all for the help it really did allow me to make the right choice. I did try to negotiate but they would not budge. I let the opportunity go.
Negotiate on the offer. Tell them you need higher comp or you'll stay where you're at.
