I'm currently working as ETL tester @ Infosys, 5Yoe, cctc: 6.5
Going for my first switch, and got offer from CTS with 11.5 ctc as etl tester.
My lwd is jan 2nd.
I got trained in Selenium in java and i think my selenium concepts/understandings are good, need some brush up on testng.
So is it advicable to kick start and brushup Selenium+ TestNG concepts in 1 month and go for automation role interviews as i dont have experience in realtime automation projects. Good or bad idea?

I have a in person(online, 4 hours - 4 people) technical interview coming up and I have been practicing my coding for the past 3 weeks. The only thought I've been having is "what if I can't solve the coding question?" I am still fairly new to the software engineer scene and the position is for a level 1 software engineer.
Does it essentially end my chances if at any point I can't solve the question? I mean I will definitely attempt to talk it through, ask question, but no progress in code. 🤷

A unit in TCS is trying to retain me saying if they revise the ctc (from their unit bugedt) and provide an Indonesian onsite opportunity, will you revoke your papers. Is it worth taking this chance? The team is very small of just 10 people and I am not sure how much will they provide for onsite. Pls advice as not a single question was asked in the interview apart from expectations.

Should I Go Back and Reneg? Recently I was offered a role as a Project Implementation Manager (In Retirement Services) .The salary range for Colorado residents was 65-89K. I’m located in NY so the recruiter said he would try to get me more. Ultimately he came back at 90K which is a bit inline with that I was seeing on Glassdoor but approx looks like I may leave 10-12K on the table. Is this the norm in our consulting domain? Hey all, do you feel depressed when you appear for an online test for a qa automation role for job hunting, and all you see are core java/c# development related questions in the test. Have given 3-4 tests like this, feels pointless after seeing the first question. I mean you dont really need in depth knowledge of complex concepts of that language to use it for web/api automation.

How to improve your communication skills and confidence for meetings and presentations? I have good enough verbal communication skills but while speaking I sound timid and not that articulate.

There are so many people getting offers with more than 10-15 LPA in IT by providing fake experience & proxy interview support. Some don't even have a technical degree.

I totally feel worthless now after working 5 yrs in IT now. I worked very hard, got admission in top college, studied very well there & got an offer of 10 LPA during clg placements.

I left deloitte India manager role to join IQVIA lead developer because of a difference in salary of around 5lpa and also because I read bad reviews about DI throughout. It's been a week that I got onboarded in iqvia but still haven't received laptop and no sign of work getting started. I am bored, demoralized and regretting not joining Deloitte now. Please someone tell me if it was the right decision 😔.
