I am joining one of the big 4 consulting soon, before putting down my notice with my current employer the background investigation team informed me that except the current employer all elements are completed and finalized. The Current employer verification will be done before the week of the start date. Is it ok to put down the notice now.

What is PwC’s Salesforce practice like? Is the WLB any good at the Senior Associate level? Is their comp any different than other Big 4?

Is the difference between big 4 and MBB in compensation huge at top levels (SM and up)?

Need serious advice. Been a Digital Strategy consultant for three years, heavy focus on product strategy, research, development. It’s a small but global consultancy (offices in nyc, brasil, colombia). Last whole year been acting as a technical lead on strategy for a team of 40+ consultants across different industries and even sold new projects including new clients considered unicorns. Can I go to MBB as a consultant and/or project lead? My salary is way below average big 4/MBB… don’t have MBA.

Deloitte US just announced layoffs. Any other B4 started layoffs too ?

I have been offered a position at a non-US B4 with a 2 year path to partner. I know one of the partners at the local firm and have the support of the regional service line lead, and am bringing a specialized skill set they are trying to open a new business around. The KPIs seem achievable and I’ll be in charm school to help build support within that timeline. Most of me thinks a 2 year path under these circumstances realistic but my inner skeptic is jaded. Anything I might have missed?

What big 4 have the best maturity and paternity leave policies?

My previous experience includes time at B4 audit up to senior level and then transitioned to manager in industry. Senior/manager roles are preferred.

I don’t mind audit. However, I’d prefer it not to be at a B4, as I am looking for some semblance of a work life balance.
