So I have around 8 years of experience in graphic and motion design using Adobe tools, cinema4D drawing a 14LPA CTC but now I am looking to switch over to UI design, I do have a google certificate for the course and working knowledge of Figma as I took up some personal projects.

I have been applying for mid senior level jobs in UI, should I reconsider and apply on fresher UI jobs or will my prior experience be valid while switching over.

Looking for some guidance or opportunities.

What's your preference for plaintiff's side? Steady pay at approximately $120k with no bonuses, or a base salary of $70k plus a cut of what you close over a minimum threashold? Midwest-ish market. In both situations, you get a cut of what you bring in.

I am a self learned ux designer and working independently for my clients. Even though clients are happy with my work i feel they don't understand design much and i always feel there is a gap in my learning as there is no one to critique my work in design perspective.
