Buying a house with monthly expense of $4900, although my current rent is only $2350. My total HHI with my husband is about $310K. I’m feeling weary of spending this much but we live in a HCOL area near a major city and we have high taxes. It’s hard to find anything decent under $800K. What’s the best way to maximize having both the chase freedom unlimited and sapphire preferred?

For context, I’ve had the unlimited for 2 years and just opened the preferred because of the bonus offer. I will hit the $4k spending target, but after that, what’s the best way to use these two in tandem, given the unlimited rewards are all around much better.

I just left my pre-seed startup that was running out of cash (we made $100,000 in revenue this year, and sunk $1m in costs). I was making $40,000 as a developer (plus 20k stock options at $1/share per year) and they refused to pay me any more money. I have 17,000 vested stock options, total number of shares at the time of my contract was 4million. Interesting investment opportunity with PSTH. Biggest SPAC with Tontine warrants. In short, for every 9 common shares you buy and hold through the merger, you get 2 shares priced at $23. The price right now is $26. I would get in and gradually increase by a multiple of 9 and hold until at least Dec 2021

I’m seeing lots of posts about really bad losses. If you trade you’re going to lose money - hopefully not all the time, but many positions will be mistakes. But you need a process to find ideas and manage positions. Two books you should read are “The New Trading for a Livinng” and “The Laws of Trading.” Both look at psychology, process, and risk in different ways that can help you work out your own process. The next 18 months will be much harder than the last 18 - time to start learning.

I get credit alerts from Experian/ TU & was told two email addresses were found on the dark web. Have been hit w fraudulent charges in FL via Chipotle app; rec'd email that said sender knew my password (was partially correct) & was going to send nude pics of me to my contacts; rec'd email from Best Buy about my email being used to reset my pword (don't have BB acct) & today was notified of a declined transaction in Canada (I'm in TX). Besides changing pwords/ replacing cards what should I do?
