Get out while you can. Most likely the firm is a sinking ship after a series of bad mergers and now they can’t match without productive junior partners feeling the pain and leaving. Or they just can’t be bothered to value the associates. Either way if you have a choice you shouldn’t hang around.
They’ve been shorting junior partners since before the bad mergers. Pretty sure they’re just greedy. Either way, I am with you on leaving ASAP.
