Been there, done that! I keep a mini fan and a water bottle at my desk. Also, I try to schedule my more demanding patient interactions for the morning when my brain fog is a bit less intense. It's all about adapting and prioritizing self-care during those tough days.
I swear by black cohosh and maca root supplements. They've helped me tremendously with hot flashes and energy levels. Of course, talk to your doctor first, but don't be afraid to explore natural remedies for symptom relief.
I've found it helpful to be open with my colleagues and supervisor about what I'm going through. It's nothing to be ashamed of, and it's amazing how supportive people can be when you let them in. Plus, it takes the pressure off when you have an occasional brain fog moment!
