Bain & Company Is it truly easier to get in a smaller MBB office?
Have heard a lot for different opinions on these. The logic is that it’s easier because there is a lot of supply in cities like NY, Chicago and SF, but the counter argument is that the offices with less supply are also way smaller and have a lot less demand.

If memory serves the Le Locle Lady has a 2671 in it. +6-8 seconds is well within factory spec for that movement.
More broadly, anything +/- 30 ish seconds has historically been considered decent for mass produced watches. The COSC standard, which is (was) considered to be very rigorous, is basically +6/-4 (there’s more details but that’s the short version). With new movement technologies and the current arms race folks are introducing mechanical movements as accurate as +/- 2 (Rolex says all its watches meet that standard).
It’s also worth noting that your watch very likely runs fast in some positions and slow in others. If you notice it gaining time, try setting it down the other way for a week and see if it’s lost the time back.

Try crown down or face down. Those work for most ETA movements to slow them down.

Who cares about six seconds. You don’t wear a mechanical watch to tell time
+6/8 is pretty good for that watch. When I first got my Rolex GMT, I kept track of the accuracy - it averaged +1.09s/d over the first 750 days I owned it.
There are 86400 seconds in a day - gaining six seconds isn’t bad. If you set it 30 seconds slow, you can re-sync it every week or so and it’ll never be off by more than a minute.
Sent in my early 1990’s rolex sub for service and repair in Sept when I got it back it was gaining about 5 sec per day - it has slowed a bit. was really noticing each week when I flew and changed time zones weekly. Now I just set it once a week.
I do use my watch to tell time...
