I think the experience from a project management standpoint is better at the middle market firms. I have led management calls for add-on deals and used to travel to our diligence meetings driving the meeting agenda for nearly all deals where there was travel involved at BDO as a senior. People I know that work on large deals at big 4 say they don’t get that kind of exposure. Obviously there’s draw backs such poor data quality and crappy accounting on the middle market deals
Curious as well. Honestly think my only hope of going into FDD is through mid-market (if they even hire me at all).
