any telltale signs of layoffs in tiger?
Hey! Any Google folks know if it’s possible to negotiate fully remote if a contract role is hybrid? Personally, I don’t want to relocate and go to the office on a contract role given the current economy. Plus, I’m assuming contractors are the first to go in layoffs. I just think it’s a fair trade off if I’d be allowed to work fully remote. I’m also trying to have flexibility to manage my Airbnb business in a different country. Same time zone as the home office if I’d travel weeks at a time.

Where are my monies!?

What are we buying ourselves today? 🥴😊😅
Guys there’s this boot camp that I came across that trains people to get jobs in Top consulting firms and has a fee plan wherein you pay once you get placed. I just wanted to know if someone here has any experience with this ?

Depends on how toxic your firm or practice leadership behave
Everything depends on the context. Your only reason to leave was money and your only reason to stay was money?
Then yes, you'll likely be perceived as an attrition risk (since it's fairly easy to find higher paying jobs if you are continuously searching) which can have some negative consequences such as hindering career movement.
For example, management may not want to align you to high impact / value work since now they know you aren't very committed to the company and are more likely to not stick around for the duration of the engament.
Meaning the folks who get placed in those roles instead of you might get more opportunities and thus more advancement than you will
They liked you enough to bother to keep you. I wouldn’t sweat it.
