You’ll have trouble finding someone to come to you without more people. You can go to a salon. Have you thought about asking close friends / family if they want to get their hair and makeup done? Moms, sisters, close cousins, etc.?

That’s super weird. I’ve seen plenty of salons offer bridal hair and makeup as a solo option

If you need them on location, what about finding someone who is newer or not specific to bridal makeup? They might have a smaller team and more availability. Otherwise, ask if the minimums still apply if you drive to their salon?
It’s annoying, but the artists are likely doing 2-3 weddings that day, so they probably want to max their time at one location by having more clients
Is that normal? Makeup artists do individual makeup every day, and I’m not understanding what makes this materially different. That’s ridiculous
Does that makeup artist specialize in bridal makeup such that it would be reasonable for them to hold off hoping for a bigger gig? If so, maybe look into makeup professionals who don’t specialize in weddings. They don’t always have a guaranteed book of business
Keep looking! This seems unreasonable to me.
Also - consider asking your best friends or family to get ready with you!
Definitely look into traveling to the salon if it is just you.
I have tried that and haven’t had any luck so far!
They won’t travel for at least like 3 people. Your options are 1. Pay to have your mom or mother in law get theirs done and accept the cost being on the higher end. 2. Asking what they’d charge as travel fees and paying the difference there. 3. Go to a salon, avoiding the travel all together. 4. Book glamsquad. Pretty sure they will do it for one person. I haven’t used them in years, I hope they’re still around!
