I’ve had to step away from social media for my own mental sanity as I have a major issue with comparing myself to peers when it comes to life stages. Does anyone know if it's possible to move from tech sales to strategy planning? I am a young professional and mostly have background in sales and account management but I do have an econmics and finance degree which could be helpful to move into more technical roles like strategy and operations.

If you were in a private company assistant controller position being offered $10k more to switch over to public and much better PTO days and fully remote as opposed to an in office position that I’m currently at in a Real estate growing company. Would u do the switch back to public (left public just recently)?

Parking at Gurugram office has become a problem big enough to start thinking of another job. It’s so inconvenient to imagine taking public transport in 48 degrees. How can you expect employee to come office and not offer parking or cabs? It’s like employer asking you to work without a laptop.

Would you say procurement or supply chain is the better career path for a new grad?

I worked at two different food delivery companies with nearly polarized cultures. One was transparent and collaborative, allowing ideas to come from anywhere in the organization. The other was very secretive, and you could only focus on what you were assigned to do. In your opinion, what defines a great company culture?

I just found out how we can solve all the "supply chain problems." Maybe people could... like... order things a week BEFORE they needed them? SMH

I'm glad people can order things online and get them the next day; but it makes my job harder because a lot of the people in my company don't see that we just don't have the infrastructure for that kind of operation, so they need to order it BEFORE they need it the next day
