Got a random email from a supposed Amazon recruiter for a SDE position (which is not at all a fit). The email is amazon.com domain and there are no red flags in the body but it doesn't feel like an Amazon recruiter due to the tacky signature, etc. Has anyone seen this kind of cold-calling from FAANG recruiter?

I review my resume and the job description. I’m ready to whiz through my “tell me about yourself” with a quick succinct story. When it comes to specific behavioral questions I had a huge matrix in business school where I wrote out answers to each potential question. I would review that.
Take a look at Glassdoor to see if they have any information about the questions asked. Research industry trends and read white papers written by the company and/or the practice area you’re interviewing with. Also research your interviewer. Take notes on all the research you’ve done and if you need to leave comments on your resume to queue you to any really pertinent details.
The day before I would review my notes and the same day I would look at them again, plus search the news via Google to see if there’s any update on the company.
Good luck!

It’s in excel.
Column 1 - question
Column 2+ STAR responses, one for each letter.
About times when you don’t have an answer for a particular scenario?
I’ve been a person who prepares it a few days before the interview.. leading to 2 issues 1) I tend to forget some impactful examples from the past 2) I literally have to mug up my STAR format answers leaving me less volatile to changing the answer based on the question during the interview
Any tips/tricks/processes you’ll have followed that worked for you?
