How do you handle customers who lead with price? I had someone show me the Giffgaff £5 fibre offer before I even finished my intro. Fair play, they came prepared. Sometimes sales feels less like pitching and more like helping people not panic about bills.

I always try to sell them on personal experience and what the product you are selling means for you. Give them the details on what you are selling... this gets them away from apple to orange comparisons and gives you flexibility to sell the product in other ways - not just price.

Have fun though!

Hi all I'm interviewing for a role as a BDR in Dublin in cloud computing. I graduated in 2020 (bachelors) and have worked as a sales manager at a store. They offer € 33k/year and € 22k in commission with relocation fees etc.
It seems like a great company and I'm really interested. Is the salary good for Dublin? And for someone starting their career?

Started a new job 7 months ago. There’s been a hiring freeze and it seems they canned the recruitment team. Things seems to be slowing down drastically in the span of a week. Getting the resume all spiffed up and getting interviews together. When do you make the exit? “When you find a job” I know, but…

Also, would me making my exit to another role that I might leave in a 8 months bite me in the ass down the line? Do I just grab anything in the interim?

At the biotech company I work at avg inside sales is $62,632 with a $3500 per quarter cap. Commission structure is % based on sales quota reached vs capped (not a direct % of sales). I’m underpaid at $53000 with $3500 cap per quarter.
