How do you keep busy during slow times especially this time of the year? Recently, learned that my team lost out on opportunity and keeping busy is more important than ever even though it the slow time of the year.

My team doesn't really know slow times. We have so much going on that we're often behind on projects and we hardly get breaks before the next projects start up. I think it's also because we're understaffed. I'd love some downtime to try and figure out what we could work on to strengthen our internal processes

Our slow time is either non-existent or we have a ton of it. A lot like a roller coaster throughout the year. We use the slow times to make sure we are caught up on trainings and meeting our goals.

I am the primary breadwinner and far out earn my husband and my stepson’s bio mom. I have always put pressure on myself to succeed (Cont.)

Is it worth it to go back to school for a better track to a FAANG company? The division I’m currently in seems like there are no good opportunities, and I have the funds available to finish my undergraduate full time (Canada). I applied to Amazon before for a highly senior position and made it to final interview so I think I would have a better chance for a new grad type role.
