Take a short break in the day [5, 10, 30 minutes] to do something that you love and takes your mind off of work and reset. I might meditate, go for a walk outside to clear my mind or connect with someone.
Medication? Xanax ?
For Xanax yes. There are over the counter herbal supplements that people try ,like theanine, valerian root, ginkgo biloba, aswagandha , kava kava, magnesium etc. IMO a prescription med is more potent and economical in long run.
What helps me when I get episodes of panic attacks is that when I realise I’m starting to get one, I’ll do the 7 11 breathing and step away from the desk for a moment. I would suggest finding activities outside of work to release stress and if your company has wellness allowance, I’d recommend going to a physiologist. These are all the things I’m doing right now which I find helpful, at least for me. Hope you’ll feel better and take care!

Buspar can work, but it’s mild as compared to other stronger meds like Lexapro, Prozac , praxil, Zoloft. Vasodilators also help.sometimes ADHD meds help to slowdown thinking and anxiety.
There’s a lot of experimentation needed with an experienced doctor.
PS: I get my info from my pharmacist wife!
I’ve found that limiting caffeine intake and getting a good nights sleep can help with the anxiety. Yes it may seem like a lot to ask for with a busy schedule but it is certainly worth it if you’re battling anxiety
