I recently interviewed for a role at Goldman Sachs and completed all the levels. After the final interview HR sent me a link to fill out the Compensation Questionnaire and requested for related documents. Next day, another HR called me for some clarification and told me that they are going to request for some approvals. Does this mean I can expect an offer letter? If yes, how long will that process take?
DM for referral at CGI
Faced this weird behaviour from Optum recently. Gave interview for Data Scientist position. HR said feedback is positive. Asked for documents. It's been month now since I have shared the documents. I have no update on the offer. Today I called HR, she called me back saying the position is on hold due to recalibration in team, She has shared interview feedbacks to other teams and will get back to me in couple of days. I am clueless now. My last working day is approaching (In a month). Any Help??

Just like that.
I’m not even sure they care anymore, on either side. I got approached for a 40k job yesterday. Like wtf?
Maybe show them a few portfolios that are at the right caliber. Then, when they inevitably ignore you, bring up those portfolios and compare them to the crap they’re giving you. Rinse and repeat until they get the point
I’ve had this exp with recruiters more often than not. I don’t think non creative people know how to look at portfolios.
At that point I’d ask colleagues to send along referrals
Agree with SC2. Don’t expect recruiters to know what you need without a little (or a lot) of guidance. The more they work with you the more they learn. Treat it like a relationship and you will get the help finding people you need. They work for you in the long run
