I had a technical discussion for HCL on 3rd Oct. It's been more than a week. I still haven't received a status on that interview. I have also received a "Resume shortlisted" mail from their careers app after a week.
Does it mean I'm selected? There's no intimation of the status at all. The HR don't reply on mails/calls.
Can anybody advise on this of they been through the same.

I have a third round interview this Thursday, but after I sent my availability, I booked a flight for work that is causing a problem. The interview ended up scheduled for 3:30-4:15, and I'm supposed to be on a 5pm flight out of LGA. Is there a reliably quiet place at LGA to do the interview (I don't have lounge access)? Would it be a bad idea to say my availability changed and I can't do that time slot anymore? Or should I cancel / rebook my flight to later at night?

Is it worth it to go back to school for a better track to a FAANG company? The division I’m currently in seems like there are no good opportunities, and I have the funds available to finish my undergraduate full time (Canada). I've never worked on anything for TikTok and hope I never have to. TikTok is from hell. I was on it one time for about 10 minutes and could feel myself becoming mentally unwell in just those 10 minutes. The human brain is not designed to deal with the sheer amount of sensory overload that app gives you. I'm pretty sure TikTok is one of the main reasons we are constantly hearing about how much Gen Z struggles with mental health.
