Faced this weird behaviour from Optum recently. Gave interview for Data Scientist position. HR said feedback is positive. Asked for documents. It's been month now since I have shared the documents. I have no update on the offer. Today I called HR, she called me back saying the position is on hold due to recalibration in team, She has shared interview feedbacks to other teams and will get back to me in couple of days. I am clueless now. My last working day is approaching (In a month). Any Help??
I gave interview in Amazon and cleared all the rounds , then went on hold and still on hold due to hiring freeze in that departement. HR does respond and update me when reached out.
Interesting thing which happened here is iam cracking each every product based interviews now after my tough preparation for Amazon and getting higher packages than what Amazon would give. So whatever happens , happens for good. Cheers Amazon

McKinsey & Company Deloitte McKinsey & Company I am interviewing for intranet roles at both companies. could anyone share how those are set up internally (e.g., marketing / internal comms / IT - who does the content creation? back office or is it on the consultants?)? Thank you so much!
What exactly do you guys do in consulting?
Move dilemma:
Currently @ Arthur D. Little Limited Dubai as SE Manager w/ base comp of 285k $ + 10-15% bonus. Vert limited fit w/ people & projects in the region (MEI) & not motivated by seniors. Not happy w/ the job but good WLB. Very likely to promote to Pr which would include a 20-30% jump in total comp but shift to more variable
Move to MBB as PL. Projects & people are supposed to be great and he could see himself in the long run. Comp is 170k $ + 60% bonus. Will take 1.5y to move to Pr

Be good?
Know someone! It's how I moved to BCG. They can refer you, and then your resume will be screened and hopefully you'll get an interview!
Outside of the SIG (10% of the firm, soon to be less), Booz Allen hires for specific open positions instead of for general good candidates. Centralized recruiting / job tracking is horrid so that's why it's hard to apply online because it's hard for the applicant to find the specific job and that resume to get to the right manager. Most open jobs aren't posted because centralized recruiting sucks, so referrals are necessary for those jobs at Booz Allen
Sorry not into that. But. Show impact; that you have analytical horsepower; client skills; problem solving... be explicit and don't waste bullets
Show actual impact of you, not what a team did
So getting an interview at Booz Allen through online application is almost unheard of, most are referrals. Does MBB focus on campus recruiting or is it possible to come in from another firm?
So specifically to BCG, do referrals go a long way?
Well I know you now :-) would you mind screening my resume?
Yeah I also got in through referral
Can I forward my resume over for vetting?
Thanks for the tips, any further advice on how to build contacts in the firm?
Know someone? Maybe college alumni. LinkedIn email (although not overly successful).
I only know people at McKinsey, I truly do not know anyone at BCG.
Where did you go to school?
For undergraduate work I went to American University in Washington DC, and for my masters I went to George Washington University.
