Deloitte is the bigger name and pays a bit better but Grant Thronton has way nicer people and known to have a way better cultre and work environment. What should I do? Where should I go?Deloitte Grant Thornton

Hey, I have 4 YOE and currently a manager at PwC and have been managing teams for a little over a year now. My role mainly consists of leading teams of engineers deliver MVPs to our clients.
If I wanted to exit to Google or Facebook (Meta) what role would align for me? I was looking at engineering manager roles but unsure if that’s too senior for me.

ASAP. The cost to benefit ratio diminishes rather quickly until you get to post MBA recruitment where it resets and begins diminishing again.
I’ve seen plenty of people move with 1.5-3 YOE at B4 to analyst roles, myself included. It’s well worth it. It won’t happen for you if you’re under 1 YOE. It starts to become a bit not worth it when you get 4+ YOE without a MBA, but then you can get a MBA and come in at the post MBA level.
Yes, but you will have a higher base salary and shorter expected time to EM than campus hires. I think they only do ASC hires for those with 5+ YOE and they would likely only hire into an EM role if you previously were a manager in another role (preferably in a consulting firm) and/or have a ton of experience. McKinsey (can’t speak for BB) makes sure that it’s always worth it to join now rather than to wait.
ASAP.
As early as possible tbh. Once you get to the post mba level and above (without an mba), the benefits diminish. Especially if you’re in the firms that have similar comp structures as mbb (S&, EYP)
