If you're trying to stay in consulting, I don't think your life would be significantly different on either side.
If you're looking to exit, I think MBB has a slight edge, but only slight. May not be worth losing your existing connections and rep.
Mentor
I will say though that if you’re a junior (say, less than 2 years), the existing “network” doesn’t mean much. Matters more at M+ levels.
Possible, yes. I’ve seen former T2 consultants join. Worth it? Depends on what you want out of a career. More work + somewhat better pay and exit options (although I don’t think MBB is really that far ahead of T2 if you’re not trying for a niche exit)
Yes , it is possible , and I believe MBB provides more perks , better pay , better projects , better colleagues . So yes - worth it
Depends on region, and how long you want to stay in consulting.
At the higher levels where BD starts to matter, the MBB platform (name, connections, prior engagements) carries people somewhat.
At manager and below, in my geography at least, T2 offers noticeably better TC and perks.
Exit ops as someone already said are probably similar with MBB having a slight edge.
Edit: forgot to mention that I saw a decent number of ex-T2 joining us recently

alumni network at MBB is a solid reason to make the switch but at the end of the day MBB will be a very good name to get you interviews but everything is dependent on you as an individual
Coach
Not worth it, regretting my move
Yes pls elaborate

It can be worth it or not - depends entirely on your goals (you should know this!).
It’s probably a step back in comp, even over the medium run, given that some T2s pay about the same through EM level.
Exits are likely marginally better and likely easier to get interviews, but you see people lane in the same spots all the time across MBB and T2, especially vanilla corporate exits (very different story if you’re gunning for something more niche like PE / VC - MBB will provide you with a tangible advantage).
Hours will probably be the same. My former T2 was the same (if not a bit more) on hours, on average.
People are mostly the same everywhere.
