How have you managed someone with ADHD who struggles with focusing?

I hired a senior analyst who is talented in data and has a great attitude. The problem is that he often isn’t able to follow during meetings and as a result takes poor notes and, importantly, doesn’t absorb key business/functional concepts. He is open to feedback and said that he has ADHD and trouble focusing, which is impacting his absorption. We’ve talked about strategies to mitigate but curious to hear what others have done.

Any parents who are still on the safe side with Covid? We have a 1 year old and being safe and staying mostly home is really getting to me. Most of our friends have kids who are able to mask up or are vaccinated and it’s getting quite isolating. Especially now mask mandates are being lifted feeling like we can’t go anywhere without risking our kid.

Do you all feel that the Health Insurance choice is actually all the same? The coverage is absolutely copy and paste for Bronze to Platinum and the deductible/copay is very similar.
I just don’t understand why we have the illusion of “choice” if the offer is the same and it is really bad (in our case).
Going from $61 per paycheck for 2.5k deductible 75% copay to $500+ per paycheck with 500 deductible 85% copay.

Misled on Maternity Leave Policy. I found out I only get 4 weeks pay for maternity leave (STD +“sick days”). I will take 12 weeks but wont get paid for 8 weeks.
