I agree with ey1 usually 15-25% depending on the week. Charging 45 and usually working 52-56 I’d guess. Plus ~ 11 hours of travel a week

@D3- manage up and set boundaries. It’s a combination of communication so that if you have to charge extra hours your manager/SM knows why and can explain it as well as setting priorities so you’re not working the extra hours when it’s not necessar

I have always just billed what I work, including the two years I was at Deloitte. Only once have I been asked if I could charge less, and my response was, "sure, what scope should I cut?"

True for me to after 10 years. Only been asked to back out hours once and my manager told me to clarify explicitly with my SM, did they mean not to bill for my hours. They can’t say yes or it’s a compliance issue. They said no just to confirm scope week to week and stop work early on Friday if necessary not to go over. Not been an issue since
