Hello guys, I am a ML Engineer by profession and have recently heard about the AI Centre of Excellence at TCS.

I've that the COE team is supposed to guide TCS employees on client end. However, I've also heard that as they do not generate any profits, TCS moves them to client side as soon as possible.

I have heard from friends working in different companies about Synechron. Employees working hours are very closely monitored at Synechron.

Employees have to spend 9 hours inside Office rather than Synechron premise.

Also, employees have some app installed in their virtual machines which tracks the duration for which they were logged in.

Is this true?Wanted to confirm from someone who are working with Synechron.

I have an interview with Korn Ferry for an associate principal role and am curious about others’ experiences have been with work-life balance here. Anyone else feel like work/billable hours gets in their way of taking care of their life? Hate having to choose between working to keep up with billables and taking care of my life whether that's the gym or whatever else. Feel like I never have enough time for both.

I sacrificed my health to achieve some major professional accomplishments, gaining significant weight along the way.

Currently, in accenture. I have had very bad billable hours and not much achievement this fiscal year. I am worried of getting fired, so i applied for another job. Got offered may be 5% above my current pay with 5k bonus, but in lower level at Deloitte. I think working lower level will give me more opportunities to learn as i think i have lot to learn. I made decision based on my gut and accepted the offer. I have not talked to anyone on accenture side yet. What you think?

I have my last day at employer A right before thanksgiving and will be covered on their health insurance through 11/30. I am taking some time off before starting a new position with employer B in mid January but their insurance wouldn’t be effective until 2/1.
