Hi fishes, what are the chances of Pwc AC bangalore rescinding an offer given the current market condition? The role in my offer letter seems to be pretty generic and during interviews, it didn't look like, they were interviewing for a particular project or team. I have doubts specifically because of HR's behaviour during the whole recruitment process where they never responded to my emails or calls. Is this normal practice?

Bain & Company Boston Consulting Group is too slow. For anything you wanna do inside the organization, 12 months of tenure is required. Even for promotions its the same no matter hoew exceptionally you perform.
Whereas Bain & Company has no such minimum tenure requirement. My colleague got promoted in 4th months of joining right out of college.
Give me 1 reason why I should accept the offer from BCG?

Growth is very slow, and you don't have much work. After you join the company, you'll not have much work until you complete the 1st appraisal. During your 1st appraisal, you'll be told that you've not performed anything great at work at far, and hence you're not eligible for any hike and bonus.
After the 1st appraisal, the managers start targeting you, micromanagement begins, and even if you give the best from yourself, they still try to give you an average performance rating during the 2nd appraisal, making sure you don't ask for any promotion.
If you continue to increase the level of momentum beyond their expectations, during the 3rd year, they might consider you and might nominate you for a promotion, and this process takes another 1 year to get completed. So it takes at least 4 years for you to get promoted. Every year the hike percentage is a single digit.
If you still want to join UBS, make sure you demand for at least 100% hike while joining itself, because the annual hikes are of single digits.
