it’s not lookin good over here
I've lost 6 or more colleagues in the last week. They were high performers, I'm shocked to say the least
EY has put off layoffs officially but you hear word all over that people are being separated. EY also instituted a summer leave program where you can voluntarily take two or three months off this summer. EY will provide one weeks' pay per month taken. The rest is on you. Had someone on my team take that approach.
Ordinarily that would be awesome, but with corona, it’s not like you could do much with it!
We're a smaller slice of the market than the firms above, but no negative actions here outside of tamping down on discretionary expenses. We did defer some summer campus start dates, but kept the remainder and a remote internship in place.

What skillset?
Anecdotal of course but our project volume has picked up significantly over the past 2 weeks to the point where staffing is actually becoming an issue. Definitely not complaining though
