How is the culture at Guidehouse ? Was contacted by a recruiter for Sr. Consultant position in LS and am interested in applying only to escape current WLB struggles (i.e., 5 consecutive months of consistent, 12-14 hr days and weekends at non-MBB/LEK/CV firm).

Been trying to get out of consulting in general as my life priorities have shifted and WLB is my top concern atm, but I’m ok with moving to any smaller, slower consulting firm for now given how bad job market is.

Is there anyone on here who’s switched sides - from defense to plaintiff - and can speak to their experience / general things to think about? I’ve just moved and gone on/going through multiple interview rounds with a big defense firm and a plaintiffs firm doing high verdict litigation (established enough to pay pretty good associate salaries). Not trying to jinx myself before any offers, but I’ve really liked the people at both firms and want to take my time to consider all angles (cont)
