If a firm has multiple openings that you’re interested in, is it a good or bad idea to apply to more than one position? I’m a third year interested in retooling from lit to general corp, but they prefer someone with 3+ years of corporate experience. They’re also looking for an M&A with 1+ years, so it may be easier to aim for that, but I’ve heard horror stories re WLB for M&A. Would still try it out tho bc I’m desperate to leave lit, but don’t want to make a faux pas. Any insights appreciated!

Can anyone provide some guidance to taking the CFE? As in which membership option to choose from followed by when exactly can we take the exam, if the entire amount is reimbursed or not? How do I get a job at a startup? I have an accounting/finance background, but don’t enjoy that work and want to get into the startup space (been interested for years).

Hi - I’ve moved to Toronto (from Asia) with 5 YOE in Corporate banking + 2 YOE IB/capital markets (7 YOE in TOTAL) working roles in Front Office and financial analysis.
