I think I'm mostly settled in by 6 months and really comfortable at the 12-18 month mark. No matter how well-prepared and qualified you are for a new job, it just takes time to get accustomed to the new role, new colleagues and new environment.
Takes at least a couple of months to get used to all the systems and the people and even longer to start building good relationships
Took me a few months to stop feeling as weird, but I didnt really hit my stride until 2.5 years in lol
I was told onboarding to my new role within the same company but different team that the on parsing expectation would be about 8 months
Honestly I would say at every job I have ever had, it wss six months before I felt like I was adjusted and somewhat knew what I was doing.
