How long is the ban in general if you get rejected from MBBs from MBA campus placements? Do you have to wait till after 2 years to reapply? And is there an age limit for application? Besides this, any other personal experience and perspective of how many times people get rejected before they actually get an offer will be much appreciated.

I'm currently making a career pivot and have gained a significant amount of experience during my MBA but still a bit in that pivot stage.. Has anyone worked for or with any corporate VCs, VCs with some sort of business development or other support, innovation labs, incubators, or similar places that you enjoyed? I recently discovered pay band information given to me by the HR generalist I'm working with on hiring was outdated and updated bands had been released over the summer (prior to my hire date). Summer intern at BCG. I've been told by a few people that you need to spend your first few cases "earning your stripes" to gain staffing optionality or be servile/loyal to a pyramid to gain access to the cooler case work within that PA. It's seemed particularly emphasized at times.
