Please if you can help and advise?
I have just joined Amazon Retail as sr Program Manager a month ago. I miss banking/technology now. I have heard that I can move teams. I know it’s too early so I don’t know how to approach this situation and potential HMs. Reaching out to this community to seek help if you have similar roles for which you (or your network) is hiring, would you be able to help? It’s better to be in a relevant role and be best than performing poor in current role. Please help.

I've had juniors with 2+ years of experience who didn't deserve promotions. I've had seniors who were less than 6 months out of college who earned those promotions.
But after 2-3 years, if you haven't been promoted - you should question whether you're at the right agency or in the right field.
It's funny how less than 1 year is flaky but more than 2 becomes stagnant at entry level. 😞
^ If promotions at your agency are actually merit based, I'd love to apply. Which is it?
Depends on how good you are.
You need to earn it. Not expect it based on some imaginary deadline for a promotion.
AAE 1 year, AE 2 years, SAE 2 years
15 years is too long
After one year, I will move on. I will move on only if I have no more to learn as an entry level and can take on more. Depending on which market you’re in, it’s always better to move to find another job for the promotion and salary bump and experience in other agencies and client verticals for greater exposure.
Same^^
