How long should I wait before following up with a recruiter saying they are interested in making an offer? Last Friday an EY recruiter told me after 2 interviews that the team was interested in moving forward and asked for my desired location and salary. It’s now been a full week and I haven’t heard back. Im still in the first round interviews of several other firms, so im not in a rush. But how long before I should send a follow up? Don’t want to seem desperate (I’m not) but im also interested

I hold an offer of 18LPA from KPMG with joining date of 7th September. (Wfh)
I applied at Workday on 15th May and went through 7 technical rounds of interview and received a verbal offer letter of 21LPA (hybrid)
Now apparently their technical panel "forgot" about the interview and wants to have a discussion again as 8th technical interview. HR says their joining date will be 19th September.

Im starting a new job but still employed somewhere else. I was trying to be open about staying at BOTH places. My current job won’t let me be part time because they don’t allow “set schedules”. Yet I am one of the only reliable and loyal employees in the department, and currently working a set schedule. So why will they not let me continue a set schedule but with different hours?
