How long should you be in a senior role before associate director? I know it's dependent on individual skills and projects etc but assuming you're doing things right, what's the general timeline?

Are there any role and responsibility differences between being an full time ACD and a freelance ACD?

I have worked my way up in Insurance for 4 years but the 1st year being an intern/front desk/admin and was promoted twice and now an account associate helping my AMs/AEs manage our Producers' books of business. I have imposter syndrome and don't think I am qualified because I dont know insurance coverages/mastered what a business would need for a particular industry (continued in comments..)
