I'm pretty sure that day 1 EY gives zero days of accrued PTO. You do get 3 personal days right off the bat. Personal days are basically the same as PTO in use, but do have a couple of technical differences.
With that said I'm pretty sure you can use some PTO before it has been accrued. But you will have to pay it back if you quit before it is accrued.
I believe staff get 15 days of PTO and seniors get 22 days of PTO. Both have 3 personal days.
I don't know how you would ever have accrued anything if there was nothing to accrue.
Who is getting only 20 days at KPMG? Maybe non-client facing? All client-facing start at 25 days (200 hours), plus whatever holidays. Way more than EY.
Associates get 25. Only parapros/tax techs/admins with 0-5 years experience have 20. Not sure about operations/technology/one stop ops etc.
9-11 holidays, 20-30 days PTO to be accrued. can go negative 80 hours I think for PTO.
Manager needs to speak up!
We get zero days from the jump, but can technically go negative 40 hours for pto balance. So I guess you start with 5 days. But you 1st and 2nd years can accrue I think 15 days? After 2 years it goes up to 22 days. Unlimited sick days. And a few flex days for the extended firm shut downs twice a year
we get 25 PTO days and I think about 12 holidays (Christmas, Thanksgiving, labor day, 4th of July, memorial day, MLK day) no sick days though. You have to use PTO for that.
