My goal was to retire by 25. I turn 26 next Tuesday so I’m running out of time fast.
Having our first kid at 37 would like to be done when the nugget goes off to college. Probably do something part-time at that point.
Lol at nugget
I just wanna be a trophy husband / stay at home dad.
SAME (minus the kids part)

67. I figure better to be pleasantly surprised if early retirement turns out to be possible.

I plan to retire from corporate life within the next 5 years and take my 2 side-business full time + trading.
Same! That’s the dream.

My goal is to work full time till I'm about 52, when my youngest is about to go to college. That's solely due to massive uncertainty over future college costs, otherwise my plan would be to work full time till around 48/49.

Public college will be higher CAGR because it is growing from a lower base and more variable also relies on state support. I plan for private college and will have more than enough if my kids go public.

If all goes well, retire at 40.
If I enjoy the company and the team I work for with good WLB, then I’ll continue with my career.
18. 22-40 then FI/RE. 7 more years...
