Hey,
Is it a good idea to join Paypal for Software Engineer III from Walmart Software Engineer III, for the base salary of 35LPA and 9L RSUs per year for Chennai location ? I am currently withdrawing 24LPA as base and 4.2 as Variable and 3.5L RSUs vested for 4 years.
I have been told that I'll be part of Risk team under Paypal Transactions domain. Any Idea how is the work culture and tech stack here in this team?

How would it hurt to know more about the people you’re interviewing with and their group’s practice? I wouldn’t mention having found their political donations or IG profile, but knowing cases they’re handling and clients they work with is always good

I don't think there is any such thing as too much prep for an interview. I think that most times people don't prepare enough and don't do their research lik ethey should. I think candidates need to be as prepared as possible.

I mean if you walk into an interview and ask me how my cat Minnie is doing I think that's a little weird.
Otherwise you should be gathering as much intel as you can. Better to be overprepared than underprepared

I don’t think it’s possible to over-prepare. It’s important to be present and thoughtful in the moment during the interview, and not come on too strong or overshare (eg revealing that you know where they went to high school from Facebook…creepy). But having context can only help you.
