I’m reviewing my resume getting ready to start my job search and have a question for recruiters, hiring managers. I’m looking for a role brand-side not agency side. Specialist roles aside, such as digital, when you see someone describing themselves as a “generalist marketer” is this a resume you’d pass on? My past roles have been such that I do a lot of marketing projects, tasks etc. but I’m not a specialist. I’m worried if I use this terminology I won’t even be considered for a role. Thank you

Rejected by HBS and GSB post interview... feeling pretty low. Was hoping I'd get one after interviewing. Not sure what I could have done differently. 750 GMAT, >3.8 GPA from top 10 UG, multiple promotions, strong recs, well-known employer. The process feels so random... While giving the tech interview as well as while having the HR discussion, I mentioned my expected CTC as 9-10 LPA(CTC). I cleared the interview and uploaded all the documents in the portal yesterday. Today mrng all the document verification was completed. But when I got the call for offer discussion, she asked what u expect. I said 9-10 LPA. She questioned me that on what basis I am asking for this much hike. She offered me 6.3 LPA as CTC with 21% variable. 5.2 as basic. Rest part in comments..

What's the fixed package of a Level 8 Associate Project Manager at Accenture technology at an experience of about 12.5 years?

In Accenture offer Letter, I didn't get the pay structure, instead HR told me that it can be planned by employee only on the first day of joining. How does it works? I got level 8 .

I have offer letter from Accenture and they have asked me to fill the compensation excel sheet.

Does anyone has any idea how to do that?

Some recruiter in Accenture lined me up for an interview for a role which was not in my skillset ( by saying that this is just an evaluation exercise and they will map me to the right role) and obviously I got rejected. Now I see that I am not eligible to apply the role which I was targeting for the next 6 months. Any idea how can I get this escalated so that the recruiter ( Accenture employee) should at least be careful in future before fooling a noob like me?
