Hey! Any Google folks know if it’s possible to negotiate fully remote if a contract role is hybrid? Personally, I don’t want to relocate and go to the office on a contract role given the current economy. Plus, I’m assuming contractors are the first to go in layoffs. I just think it’s a fair trade off if I’d be allowed to work fully remote. I’m also trying to have flexibility to manage my Airbnb business in a different country. Same time zone as the home office if I’d travel weeks at a time.

Not enough number of times these days and I need to do it more. But it’s sure to bring positive changes. There was a time in 2020 when I was in trouble and I used to do more back then and now when I look back I have come a long way. Allah not only eased the consequences for me but there were other things that happened without me realising like I found my current job at almost double the salary of what I was getting back then and I knew that I didn’t have any special skills but Allah made the interview and negotiation and everything easy for me. I should get back to doing more istighfar. According to Hadith, if you do istighfar a lot Allah will give you from places unknown to you.
I don’t have a number because I don’t make a conscious effort to do 100 or 200. I just recite couple times in a day. But In Shaa Allah I’ll try to do it at least a 100 times
I do that everyday, i did it once took a decision that i thought i screwed up and 5 years later i looked back and noticed my life was so good as if i planned it with surgical precision. People tell me i am very strategic and know what i am doing, actually i barely use my head. Moral of the story is do not treat Allah or your prayer as transaction but rather a guiding star that only when you look back you will say “Alhamdulilah, indeed i am in the best possible path”
After each prayer as well as in morning and evening
Not as many as I'd like to, but it absolutely makes a huge difference!!! May Allah forgive all of us and our shortcomings and bless us with health, wealth, and happiness!
